Una lectura divertida y curiosa en forma de leyenda corta para leer y aprender un poco de vocabulario en contexto (subrayado en el texto). El relato cuenta el origen de la bolsa en los canguros, según una leyenda australiana. El texto se presenta bilingüe (español e inglés) para que el/la alumn@ se apoye en la traducción a su idioma materno durante la compresión de la historia. No hay actividades, sino que es más bien una actividad de comprensión lectora y acquisición de aspectos culturales afines a los países angloparlantes, en este caso, Australia. Tras su lectura puede iniciarse un debate de discusión entre los alumnos con su profesor sobre los canguros.

A funny and curious reading by means of a short legend to read and learn some vocabulary in context (underlined in the text). The story tells the origin of the kangaroos´ pouch, according to an Australian legend. The text is bilingual (Spanish and English) so as to the student can rely on the translation into his/her mother tongue during the understanding of the story. No activities are presented, but it´s rather a reading comprehension lesson and acquisiton of cultural aspects related to English-speaking countries, in this case, Australia. After reading a discussion can be initiated among students with their teacher about the topic of kangaroos.
